When selecting the probe installation location, the following standards must be followed:

○ The probe should be perpendicular to the sludge surface and the bottom of the tank.

○ There should be no obstacles within the emission range directly below the probe to avoid ultrasonic signals being blocked or reflected by obstacles.

○ The probe should be installed away from areas with sudden flow velocity changes that cause gas bubbles and activated floating solids to ensure accurate and stable measurements.

○ The probe should be installed away from the inlet and outlet.

○ The sensor probe must be fully submerged in water. If the tank wall is vertically straight and the surface is flat, refer to the table below to determine the distance from the tank wall.

○ If the tank wall has an irregular surface, or has brackets, pipes, or other objects, the distance from the tank wall must be increased to avoid interference caused by these objects on the measurement.
