Chromium Online Water Quality Analyzer
>>Overview
>>Principle
The product employs the diphenylcarbazide spectrophotometric method for total chromium detection. After mixing the water sample with a strong oxidizing agent, trivalent chromium (Cr³⁺) is oxidized to hexavalent chromium (Cr⁶⁺). In an acidic environment with an indicator present, Cr⁶⁺ reacts with the indicator to form a colored complex. The monitor detects this color intensity change, converts it into total chromium concentration values, and outputs the results. The amount of colored complex generated corresponds to the total chromium concentration.
