Copper Online Water Quality Analyzer
>>Overview
>>Principle
The product employs the spectrophotometric method for copper detection. After mixing the water sample with a buffer agent, copper is oxidized to its higher oxidation state using a strong oxidizing agent. In the presence of a buffer solution and indicator, the oxidized copper ions react with the indicator to form a colored complex. The monitor detects this color intensity change at specific wavelengths, converts it into copper concentration values, and outputs the results. The amount of colored complex formed is proportional to the total copper concentration.
